The notion of dispositive allows to synthesize discursive heterogeneous
series, as the Italian philosopher G. Agamben recently wrote in his book:
Qu'est-ce qu'un dispositif? (2007). Two series are synthesized. The series of
knowledge (human sciences grounded on observation: psychiatry,
medicine, psychology, and so on) and the series of power (to act upon
bodies by the way of confinement to work upon souls). I'm very
