Disciples of the Living is the eighth volume of interviews given by Yvonne Trubert for the Book of Invitation to Life, the journal of the eponymous association. Through themes such as the Body, the Return of Christ, the Invisible, Service, Transformation, Death, Work, Disability and Time, Yvonne Trubert reveals a path of inner transformation. Inviting us to an encounter with ourselves and others, she encourages us to join a conversation and change our state of mind so that love and joy become externalized signs of our faith. Thus, Yvonne Trubert gives renewed life to the words of Christ by encouraging each person to dignity and the freedom to become a disciple of the Living.
Since 1976, Yvonne Trubert dedicated herself to others through listening and comforting them. In 1983, with the help of friends, she founded the non-profit organization, Invitation to Life, also known as IVI, which has been recognized in France as an association of general interest. Since her passing in 2009, she continues to sow hope in France and throughout the world through her interviews and writings.
