Obviously, the year 1945 can be recognised in this work as the beginning of the industrial adventure of Cameroon. Thus, the period of this essay can be structured into three cycles: 1945 to 1985, during which the economic potential of the country flourished to reach the heights of Africa’s industrialised nations. Samuel Biroki is a specialist in business and industrial economics. He is holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, a Master’s degree in Business Economics and Management, a Diploma of Higher Specialised Studies (DESS) in Corporate Economic Diagnosis from the Pierre Mendes France University of Grenoble II, and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the School of Business & Economics (Miami, USA). He has been a Research Officer to the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Technical Adviser to the Ministry of Economy.
