Soumaya Abdellatif is Associate Professor of Sociology, Head of the Sociology Department, and Director of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research Center at Ajman University. She is the founder of Family and Society Conference and has led several international collaborations, academic exchanges, and research projects. A member of the International Sociological Association and REDEMAR, (Interdisciplinary Network for the Study of Demography in the Arab World, awarded by the French National Research Agency (ANR), she has served as an external expert for UNDP, CAWTAR, and international accreditation bodies. Her work focuses on family dynamics, gender, migration, citizenship, and digital transformation in Arab societies.
